This privacy statement applies to the services offered by People4Group within Australia and via its website. This Privacy Policy pertains to both clients and candidates using our services. During the course of its business People4Group is required to collect personal information to provide a superior service to its clients and candidates. We are committed to maintaining the open and trusting relationship required of this service and therefore maintain a privacy policy to protect the security and use of this information in accordance with their obligations under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
Collection of information
People4Group collects candidate information during one to one interviews, telephone interviews or via completion of a registration form on our web site. The collection of this information will be limited to that which we perceive as necessary to assist candidates in finding a suitable position and advising clients of suitable candidates. The type of information collected includes, but is not limited to personal details such as name, age, gender, address, e-mail address, telephone number, qualifications, work experience, references, availability to start and salary expectations. We may collect other forms of information such as tax file numbers, bank account details, information about incidents in the workplace, criminal records and information about leaves and absences. We may also ask for additional information in order to provide the best service possible to both our clients and our candidates. The collected information is stored on a private computer database accessed only by People4Group employees in the course of carrying out its business.
Use and disclosure of information
People4Group will only use information that has been consensually provided to it by the client/candidate. Personal candidate information provided to People4Group is used solely for the purpose of finding those candidates suitable employment positions as requested by themselves or informing them about potential employment opportunities in the future, offering career advice and most significantly to understand the needs and skills of our candidates. This information, especially Sensitive Information (as defined by the National Privacy Principles September 2001), will be provided to clients only after the prior permission of the candidate has been sought. Information provided to us by clients will be used only for the purposes therein agreed.
Data quality
People4Group will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information it retains, uses and discloses is accurate, complete and up to date. We will update and delete information as per your request.
